Your Eye Test
Your eyes will be tested by one of our dedicated and professional optometrists, Anne Irving or Mark Roberts.
Mark, who has 20 years experience under his belt, joined the practice 3 years ago. This has given Anne the opportunity to spend more time pursuing her passion for all things outdoors.
Your eye examination will take about 30 minutes to complete giving ample time to explain the results of the eye examination in full.
Following your test, Darren will help guide you through our extensive frame and lens selection. Darren joined us in 2013 and has been working in Optics for 27 years. He qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 2002 and has a wealth of experience in frame and lens suitability. He is also very adept at repairing frames.
Our trained and experienced reception staff, Bridget, Eileen and Michelle are only too glad to assist you with any concerns you may have.
OCT Imagery
We are proud to introduce the next generation of imaging equipment to our practice – Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
The OCT will produce digital photographs but it will also provide an advanced 3D cross-sectional scan of the back of the eye.
This will allow us to see the eye in far more detail and detect subtle changes in your eyes from one visit to the next.
The OCT will allow us to spot any issues as early as possible including glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, vitreous detachments and diabetic retinopathy.
